Southwest Anglers is based in Durango, CO where owner and head guide James JB Brown lives with his wife and son. After guiding on the rivers of Montana for 5 years, JB and his wife decided it was time to move back to their home state of Colorado. They moved to Durango in 2012 and JB has been guiding the San Juan River ever since. Thousands of days spent on the Juan has made JB extremely knowledgeable of the river and he can show you where to find some big ones. As patient as they come and always wearing a big smile, JB is great at teaching beginners as well as guiding seasoned fishermen. He will make sure you have the best day the San Juan has to offer.
