Animas City Park | 2.2 Miles North of Downtown Durango
Animas City Park is named after the old historic town Animas City that was once located north of Durango. This park is located off the Animas River and features a picnic area, pavilion, and paved sidewalk that connects to the Animas River Trail. Please note there are no restroom facilities at this location.
Memorial Park | 2.2 Miles North of Downtown Durango
Memorial Park is one of Durango's most accessible parks featuring accessible parking, accessible restrooms, a picnic area, a paved sidewalk that connects to the Animas River Trail, and paved viewing platforms where you can see the Animas River, white water rafters, and people fishing. Memorial Park runs along the Animas River from 32nd Street to behind the fairgrounds.
