Take a look! Campus has numerous pullouts and picnic areas along Rim Drive that offer panoramic views of Durango and the La Platas and views up to the valley toward the San Juan National Forest.
Take a hike! Campus offers access to four established hiking trails: Lamp Post Trail, Rim Trail, Nature Trail, and the Sky Steps that connect Downtown Durango to the Fort Lewis College campus via 500 steps. Additionally, the College offers a challenging 18-basket disc golf course open to the public.
Take a ride! The Rim Trail and Nature Trail are on Campus and allow direct access to the Horse Gulch trail system with hundreds of miles of riding.
Take in some culture! Between the public art scattered campuswide, Art Hall Gallery, Center of Southwest Studies Gallery, musical performances at Roshong Recital Hall or the Community Concert Hall, and theatrical performances at the Theatre building, there's something for every art lover.
