What to Know About the Mid-Country Trail Network

Southwest Colorado is a mountain biker’s paradise! Epic trails can be found not just in Durango but in iconic nearby towns including Cortez, Pagosa Springs, Bayfield, Telluride, and Silverton.

These regions’ trails are known for their high elevation, longevity, alpine weather, and breathtaking vistas.

Due to the long commute from Durango and the typically longer trail routes, we recommend packing plenty of water and food to sustain you for the majority of the day. We also recommend bringing a fellow biker to accompany you and utilizing quality equipment.
