Experience Durango's foodie scene with a four-day tour of the best local restaurants and bars:
Day 1
Get your energy for the day from Durango Diner, Oscar's, or College Drive Cafe for a classic cafe and diner experience. Get coffee at 81301 Coffee House and Roasters on your way north of town for a beautiful drive over Coal Bank or Molas Pass. When you get back to town, warm your hands in any of our local breweries while sipping on their in-house brews. Enjoy a meal at Mahogany Grille for dinner to wrap up your day.
Day 2
Coffee and breakfast can be found at any of our local cafes and coffee shops. Always make sure to pick up a fresh, homemade pastry! Beer fans will be blown away by a day brewery hopping at our 5 local breweries including a tour of Ska Brewery at 4 pm. For a glimpse into the homegrown agricultural scene, stop by Honeyville. 15 minutes north of town for local, honey, jam, syrups, and much more. Treat yourself at the Ore House for dinner.
Day 3
Doughworks is a local favorite for dine-in breakfast and brunch, to-go menu, or their incredible assortment of donuts. After you’ve experienced Durango’s beer scene, it’s time to take a wine tour to learn more about our local wineries or do a wine tasting afternoon at Four Leaves. Chimayo Stone Fired Kitchen should be your next stop for lunch. To end your evening, El Moro Spirits and Tavern will be a great place for food and drinks.
Day 4
Hermosa Coffee Roasters for breakfast and their open layout will give you an opportunity to slow down and spend time in town. Take the day to explore local storefronts as they all carry local produce and trinkets. Don’t forget Animas Chocolate Company for a sweet treat after lunch. Derailed Pour House for dinner and drinks before a fun night enjoying any of the nightlife in town.
